The Royal Citadel in the ancient city of Hue will remain open at night (from 7 pm to 10 pm daily) from April 22 to September 15 this year.
Tickets cost VND 120,000 for Vietnamese and VND 150,000 for foreigners, Phan Thanh Hai, director of the Hue Monuments Conservation Center, said.
A night tour of the citadel means tourists can avoid the scorching summer sun and also admire the place from a different perspective.
Just like during the day, in the evening too royal ceremonies, music and martial arts are performed.
